Fostering Hope Foster Closet is planning its 6th annual backpack drive, Supply Hope! Children/teens in foster or kinship care can be registered to receive a brand new backpack filled to the brim with school supplies! We pray these backpacks will give them a successful start to their 2026-2027 school year.

The JOY Ministry (Just Older Youth) will host a game day on Tuesday, July 21st at 11 am in the fellowship hall. This will be a wonderful time of fellowship while playing cards, board games, etc. Bring a bagged lunch, homemade ice cream will be provided!

We will kick off our Hope Impact Week on Thursday, June 11th, with "Glen Hope Night" at the Burlington Sock Puppets game! This will be a time for our church family to enjoy some fellowship at the ballpark and interact with other folks at the game. We will have a table set up to give out bibles and info about Glen Hope, as well as invitations to VBS. The doors open at 5:45pm and the game starts at 7:oopm! On April 25th the Embrace Women’s Ministry will host a tea for all Glen Hope ladies. Join us, 10:30-12:30, as we discuss  -  ”Do Women Matter to the Kingdom of God”.  Each of us has a significant role in His kingdom. Sign up in the Action Center to join us for a morning of fellowship!

Saturday, April 18, 2026, Glen Hope will be partnering with several other local churches to host Unite 2026 from 11am-2pm at Holly Hill Mall. This will be a fun carnival type of event to introduce various ministries to Burlington.

“An Evening of Rest”

Many of us find ourselves facing the difficulties of life and the challenges it presents. Come join us as we press pause and seek rest from these difficulties through a focused time of worship, prayer, teaching and praise.

First Sunday prayer will take place on the last Sunday this month, March 29. We will gather at 8:30am for a time of prayer for Easter Sunday.

Hop on over to our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Join us immediately after our regular morning worship service and head to the Hope Field outside beside the church for a fun time for the kiddos to hunt for some Easter eggs!

Join us for our Refined & Renewed women’s event, a day of encouragement, connection, and renewal. We are excited to welcome special guest speaker Betsy Bolick, MA, LCMHCA, NBCC. Betsy is a Christian counselor who works with women and girls ages 12+ that struggle with anxiety, depression, processing grief and loss, and interpersonal relationships. Betsy will lead a group session on overcoming discouragement, followed by breakout sessions on Forgiveness, Health & Wellness, and Caregiving.

This event will take place in our Fellowship Hall directly behind the church. The cost is $20/person and includes lunch, with childcare available upon request (please specify in the registration if childcare is needed).

Mark your calendars to participate in a “Lunch and Learn” event immediately following our morning worship service. During this session we will take everyone through our membership class so that we all have a better understanding of who we are as a church. This will be a session for ALL of us, not just prospective members. Boxed lunches will be provided, including a sandwich, chips and a cookie for a cost of $12.00/person.
